It all starts with a 90-minute Action-Planning Session, where we’ll review your priorities, give targeted advice, and outline a smart, personalized game plan. From there, you can choose additional services from our à la carte menu to fill in the gaps: floor plans, design schemes, sourcing, styling, and more.

Step 1:
Mary Kathryn and Amy (MKW Design’s Project & Design Manager) will review your photos, videos, and inspiration in advance, then meet with you in a 90-minute Zoom consultation to talk through your space, style, and goals, and help you create a realistic, actionable roadmap for what’s next. After our session, you’ll receive a detailed, written plan with prioritized recommendations, including which Design à la Carte services might support you best.

Add DESIGN SUPPORT AS NEEDED

Using the plan from your Action-Planning Session, we’ll tailor a support package precisely to fit your needs
Essential Planning:
Floor Plan ($1,000): Custom layout showing ideal furniture placement and traffic flow
Design Scheme ($850): One-page visual to show how colors, patterns, and materials work together
Budget Strategy ($650): A line-item, editable Google Sheet with realistic pricing for your project
Additional Support:
Sourcing ($3,875 per 5 items): Curated, shoppable selections based on your space and style
Purchasing ($500 per item): Access our trade pricing (typically 20% off retail) for select purchases
Styling Guidance ($650): Direction on surface styling, art placement, bookshelf arrangement, and other finishing touches
